After my good fortune last weekend getting four games in, things were a bit rockier in Week 6. I was still in the western plains, and though there were a few Thursday options, Saturday in Kansas is basically devoid of games. There were a few games near Denver and two in western Missouri. 2019 Week 0 (Utah)

2019 Week 0 (Utah)

This season certainly didn’t start out as I had originally planned. Usually, I travel to Kentucky and also sometimes Tennessee for their “Week 0” games. These usually take place a week before Ohio starts. And formerly, two weeks before Pennsylvania would start.

However, due to a fluke of the schedule, Kentucky and Ohio both have had their season reset one weekend into the future this off-season, while Pennsylvania is still running on the same weekend. 2018 Year In Review

2018 Year In Review

This was an interesting year. In 2014, I saw 127 games during the high school football season. Which was 27 more than I had ever seen in a single season. Since then, my goal has been seeing games in new places, rather than just going for the most I could see. Last year saw new trips to South Dakota and Minnesota. This year, the plan included a few new places. In addition to games at Ball State and Tennessee Tech, I happened to find state title games in North Carolina.
