2024 Week 3 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
I had very different plans for this week at the start of the season. Originally, this was another travel week. Planning a Friday night game in Eastern PA with a doubleheader in Waverly, New York. However, my Friday night plans changed and adjusted my Saturday schedule to accommodate it. Which was, partially, my original Saturday night choice. 2023 Week 15 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
Week 15 started with some turmoil. One, there was an issue with my credential request for the Ohio state finals. Which eventually got worked out. And secondly, I had to find a new camera. I wanted to get another t8i, but it looked like none were available. And with the swithcover to mirrorless, finding an older DSLR was a priority. As I did not want to use an adapter for my lenses on a mirrorless.

2021 Week 16 (Pennsylvania)
What season would it be if I wasn’t at the PIAA Championships? Of course I was going to be in Hershey. And it had a semblance of normalcy this year that was utterly lacking last season. 2021 Week 6 (New York & Pennsylvania)
If any week didn’t go as planned, it would be this one. It started out with plans to see a Thursday night game in New York, a Friday night contest in Smethport, and then back to New York for an afternoon game between St. Joseph’s and Erie, and head back to Erie for a night game at Mercyhurst Prep. All four games would’ve been new places for me.
But, then those preliminary plans started unraveling. First, the Thursday game was cancelled when Gowanda/Pine Valley was unable to complete their game with Fredonia the week prior. 2019 Week 8 (New York)
It’s already Friday, so I’ll keep this brief. Week 8 was a nice little jaunt with a friend to a Friday night in New York, and two games in PIAA District 9.
Thursday opened with a game at Western Reserve in Berlin Center, Ohio. They were hosting Waterloo, a team I had just seen the previous weekend, also on Thursday. Continue reading “2019 Week 8 (New York)”
