Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel
The toll booth as you approach, as well as a pull off to look at the bridge. For the next half-hour plus, this is what you'll be driving on. 17.6 miles of over- and under-water driving.
Driving the bridge, itself.
At the second tunnel, headed south, you can stop on the man-made island at a restaurant/restroom/fishing pier area. These photos are of the rocks making up the leading edge of the island on the Chesapeake side, as well as a view of the expanse of water in which I just drove under. I waited several minutes for the Maersk cargo ship to cross through. It was windy, and frigid.
