2020 Week 12 (Colorado & Kansas)
Earlier this season, I had seen games around the western states of Utah, Montana, North Dakota, and Texas. And, at the time, I had assumed that once I returned to Ohio, that I would stick to Ohio and Pennsylvania through the remainder of the season until any later trips. 2020 Week 11 (Pennsylvania)
My plans were all over the place this weekend. But, luckily they solidifed into a workable schedule. This was also the first weekend in a while where all my games were in Pennsylvania.
It started with Thursday. A consolation game was scheduled between the one-win Carlynton Cougars and the winless Riverview Raiders. On a Thursday. I had planned to see Carlynton’s home game against Brentwood earlier this season, but due to Covid, was unable. So, it was a nice change of pace for something to work out. 2020 Week 10 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
As the regular season winds to a close in a mish-mash of regular season, playoff, and consolation games, things are getting a little easier for scheduling. But, that doesn’t mean there isn’t weird things that crop up.
Then, there’s things unrelated to scheduling and travel. Such, as a brand new camera failing right before a game. But, I’ll get to that.

2020 Week 9 (Pennsylvania)

2020 Week 8 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
Things had gotten a little more relaxed this week. For one, Pennsylvania had relaxed their stringent restrictions on attendance. Which made the old 250 limit no more. It was nice being at a game in PA with what could be called a ‘crowd’ for a game. But, with all the restrictions, I didn’t look for much of the Pennsylvania games earlier in the week. 2020 Week 7 (Pennsylvania & Ohio)
This week did not go as planned. After Pennsylvania had seen their attendance rules relaxed, a sudden reversal on Thursday afternoon reinstated the restrictions of 250 total people at the stadium. 2020 Week 5 (Pennsylvania & Ohio)
This weekend started with a lot of options. In Pennsylvania, there was only one Thursday night game on the west side of the state. Meanwhile, Ohio had a sizeable number of Thursday options. 2020 Week 4 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
Week 4 was back home in Northeastern Ohio. And had four football games to go with it. Even prior to Covid-19, District 10 in Pennsylvania had noted that Thursday and Saturday games were going to be a reality in 2020. An aging pool of officials made the move inevitable. 2020 Week 3 (Montana & North Dakota)
Week 3 was an interesting week. Memorable for the places I did get to go. And a bit surprising that it went exactly as planned in advance. No changes. Everything seemed to go off without a hitch. I returned to western North Dakota this week after a few days in Texas and planned to enter Big Sky Country for a rare Thursday game the furthest northeast reaches of the state, and a Friday night contest along the Hi-Line.
