2023 Week 15 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
Week 15 started with some turmoil. One, there was an issue with my credential request for the Ohio state finals. Which eventually got worked out. And secondly, I had to find a new camera. I wanted to get another t8i, but it looked like none were available. And with the swithcover to mirrorless, finding an older DSLR was a priority. As I did not want to use an adapter for my lenses on a mirrorless.

2023 Week 14 (Pennsylvania)

2023 Week 13 (Texas & New Mexico)
I knew exactly where I was going in Week 13. And that was Texico. I was going to be in Farwell, Texas. Which meant, unfortunately, that I would be quite far from a Thursday and Friday game. But just a few hundred yards from Texico, across the border from Farwell, Texas into Texico, New Mexico.

2023 Week 12 (Texas)
This week wasn’t supposed to be in Texas. At the start of the year, I had figured I’d be making the trip to Iowa as I had made for several years not including 2020 when I went to South Dakota instead.
But, I had decided I wouldn’t be making the trip about two weeks ago for work. Which was unfortunate because there was also two games in New York I’d have liked to do. Both CSP and Salamanca were at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park for the Section 6 Finals. Continue reading “2023 Week 12 (Texas)”

I wasn’t supposed to be home this weekend. In fact, I had not even considered what games I might do. Which led me to some usual places instead. With everything going on, I hadn’t really planned what games, if any, to do this weekend. Friday made the most sense. Since my daughter would be at it. Thursday wasn’t a concern. This recap will be a bit briefer than most. Primarily because of some personal tragedy in my life. 2023 Week 7 (Colorado)
After the last two weeks in Nebraska and Kansas, I moved west. For Week seven was three games in Colorado. For Thursday, there wasn’t many options, and one that I regret not taking advantage of given the outcome. However, the string of towns along I-70 from Seibert to Burlington have been on my mind for a while.

So after being in Wyoming for nearly a week, it was time to leave. The only issue was where to see games that weekend. There were Friday games in Wyoming. But ony one full Thursday game.
