Midwest States (Week 13 & 14)
The past two weeks have been quite eventful for myself. After seeing 74 games through 13 weekends of high school football, I ramped it up a bit with 25 games in 10 days on a trip through the midwest. The trip started on Tuesday, November 18th and finished Sunday, November 30th. In between, were: 3,011 miles of highway; 11 states; 24 state championship games in 4 states; a Thanksgiving Day game in suburban St. Louis; and, a lot of fun.
Nebraska & Missouri (Week 7)
This was an eventful weekend. I figured a way to see a game on Thursday night in Norfolk, Nebraska, and then saw two games in Missouri on Friday and Saturday.
Missouri – Blue Springs vs. Raymore-Peculiar (Week 11)
This wasn’t my first thought for a game. I was expecting to spend this weekend somewhere else. But I made the best that Kansas City had to offer and take up a high school game in the eastern suburbs.
The Wildcats of Blue Springs High School hosted the Panthers of Raymore-Peculiar High School of Peculiar, Missouri. The game was an MSHSAA Class 6 First Round contest hosted by Blue Springs at their rather intimate Peve Stadium located just south of the high school.
